CLÁSICOS:

Kathak:
El Kathak es la danza clásica del norte de la India donde se explican historias a través del cuerpo. Se combinan movimientos suaves y armónicos con golpes muy rítmicos de pies, siempre siguiendo la melodía de instrumentos clásicos indios como tabla y sitar.
En el taller veremos los pasos básicos de pies, aprenderemos el primer Vandana (oración bailada para agradecer a los dioses y bendecir en espacio donde bailaremos) y algunos ejercicios que combinan ritmo y expresión.

Bharathanatyam:

Es una de las siete danzas tradicionales y oficiales de la India, llamadas Gandarba Yoga. No es tan solo una danza sino que también contiene trabajo actoral.
Todas ellas parten de la idea de ser una ofrenda a los Dioses y se incian en los templos y las realizaban exclusivamente los hombres.

Odissi:

Odissi es una danza clásica india de la región de Orissa, al sur de Calcuta. En ella los bailarines realizan movimientos redondos y suaves de torso a la vez que se marca el ritmo con los pies.
En este taller veremos los primeros ejercicios que se trabajan para dominar esta danza, así como las posiciones de pies, torso, cabeza y manos.

MODERNOS:

Bollywood:

El término Bollywood aparece de la indústia cinematogràfica de Hollywood y la ciudad de Bombai (actualmente Mumbai).
La danza es origináriade la India dónde el cine está muy presente en la vida cotidiana del país, y por esto es tan popular y productiva (es la indústria que tiene más producción del mundo). Se caracteriza por introducir la danza y la música dentro del agumento de la película.
Destaca por su energía, expresividad, coordinación, coreografias grupales, colores, alegría,...
De raíz tradicioal como el Khatat, el Bharattanatyam, Odissi ,etc y danzas regionales com el Bhangra, Rajastani, Marati,… en las coreografias hay una mezcla de todos los estilos, con aportaciones, actualmente, de otras danzas más internacionales com el hip-hop, el funky, ...
El movimiento se basa en la belleza y la coordinación de mudras (posiciones de las manos), la expresión facial y los ritmos con los pies, con movimientos aeróbicos y con movimientos delicados, too ello envuelto de teatrealización.
Es una danza llena de mágia y de orígen milenário.

Bhangra:

Es una danza tradicional del Punjab, estado ubicado al norte de la India. Nació en tiempos antiguos, de manos de agricultores que expresaban la alegria de la vida. Artesanos, guerreros, mujeres y hombres fueron construyendoésta danza partiendo de sus movimientos en el trabajo.
Se basa en la celebración de un matrimonio, la cosecha, la devoción al Dios Waheguru,...
Sus movimientos son enérgicos, jugando con la simetría, la coordinación y el equilibrio.

Kathak:


Kathak is the classic dance of the north of the India where histories are explained across the body. There are combined soft and harmonic movements by very rhythmic blows of feet, always following the melody of classic Indian instruments as table and sitar.
In the workshop we will see the basic steps of feet, will learn the first Vandana (prayer danced to be grateful for the gods and to bless in space where we will dance) and some exercises that combine pace and expression.


 Bharathanatyam:


It is one of seven traditional and official dances of the India, so called Gandarba Yoga. It is not only a dance but also it contains work actoral.
All of them depart from the idea of being an offering to the Gods and uncyan in the temples and the men realized them exclusively.

Stocks on the Mahabaratta and the Ramayana, both sacred books of the Hinduism, tell the histórias of the Gods and the kings.
This dance concretely, the emotion uses as technical base the paces, with the feet, with the facial expression and manual (Mudras).


The combination of these elements is accompanied of music, where the words,singed in Sanskrit (ancient and dead language of the India) narrate the history where the dancer has the function to be a gestual transmisor.



Odissi:

Odissi is a classic Indian dance of Orissa's region, to the south of Calcutta. In her the dancers realize round and soft movements of torso simultaneously that marks the pace with the feet.
In this workshop we will see the first exercises that they work to dominate this dance, as well as the positions of feet, torso, head and hand.


MODERN:

 Bollywood:

 The term Bollywood appears of the indústry cinematogràaic of Hollywood and Bombai's city (nowadays Mumbai).
 The dance is originary of India, where the cinema is very present in the daily life of the country, and for this it is so popular and productive (it is the indústria that has more production of the world). It is characterized for introducing the dance and the music inside the argument of the movie.
 It stands out for his energy, expressiveness, coordination,  group choreography, colors, happiness...
Of root tradicioal as the Khatat, the Bharattanatyam, Odissi, etc and regional dances like  Bhangra, Rajastani, Marati, … in the choreographies there is a mixture of all the styles, with contributions, nowadays, of other dances more international like the hip-hop, funky...



Bhangra:

 It is a traditional dance of Punjab, condition located to the north of the India.
 It was born in ancient times, of farmers' hands that were expressing the happiness of the life. Craftsmen, warriors, women and men were constructing this dance departing from his movements in the work.
 It is based on the celebration of a marriage, the crop, the devotion to the God Waheguru...
 His movements are energetic, playing with the symmetry, the coordination and the balance.
